Poetry

For the Halloween weekend I went downstate. On the drives down and up I thought I would do something productive, so I tried to write some poetry. The following are five poems that I have written.

TREE OF LIFE
Lie Together
Let us sit here under this tree
With its shade for you and me
Under the shade I see you and you see I
Eye to eye we see
Away from this tree
Do you see I do I see you
When we gaze upon this tree
No only here together
Are we able to see this tree
Ideally Staying
Under here I see no death no seed
No life no leaves just us three
You me and the tree our most holy trinity
Going Returning
Around us many trees many untold stories
Unless we dare to journey apart to other trees
Knowing it will be us who return to this same tree
To once again gaze upon you and me

BIRDS OF NIGHT
Loud crowd of sound
Sinning spinning sparrows
Flying fit tough break
Spreading dead wings
Swoop swallow hollow meals
Back up to their heights
Waiting watching
Confusion commotion
Just one last meal

PROPAGANDA OF LOVE
Perfection for the proper praise
Real life is reinventing
The penetration power
Gain to win the game going
Nowhere up the ante ban
Duke and dame a demons seed

Pulling pulling passing past
Rams on rocks that never crack
Presume a place of private seas
Tides grow going gently so
Cover naked skin in sin
Devouring them water subsides

Promote true love profess it
Read deep my dears with it rear
Personal pains of purpose in
Grand gallant grandeur giving
Heeding needing intact sing
Delight in death down to god

SAD AMANDA
Night
Lady lady steadily ready
Always ready black melody
Of rags twisted cage full of rage
A maze of haze is where she stays
Sunrise
A light dark away ends the black night
Lay wake bars break no mistaking
Her wanting day lie waiting say
All those who try will always die
Morning
Talking verbalizing her mind
Passing past pain everlasting
Casting it away be alive
Strive for a life to visualize
Day
Cognitive adventure real eyes
Pondering departing for love
On time destination yearning
All had had clumsily coming
Evening
Always growing for her calling
For those who fall and ball leading
The man to the pedestal
Head held high for all who my cry
Sunset
Manifesting idea melting in
To copy mind monopoly hold
Together alter no falter
Light flicker star born of a whole
Night
Katana sacrifice a love
A con protect her in a zone
Placid in a floating prison
Forever for her parade eyes

ME
I am a timeline of my own destiny
I am me and what I see is a dream
No one man can take away from me

I found it very relaxing to do some writing. So I think I will continue to try my hand at the pen, and see what comes out. Hope you like it. I will try and come out with one new poem each week.
